A Winner at San Diego USGBC’s Christmas Raffle
The San Diego Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council held its Christmas celebration at San Diego’s Marina Village on December 2, to introduce the 2010 board members, and to raise money for the USGBC through raffles. Among the winners was Ben Friesen (shown above), who took home an original painting by Nanette Newbry, USGBC member and Creative Director of Studio 2055. The painting, entitled “California Landscape #2,” is an example of Ms. Newbry’s encaustic art. Said Mr. Friesen, “I’m happy to win the raffle–and my wife is thrilled with the colors in the painting.”
